Plus 7 years as a Human Resources Expert, Consultant, Specialist and Advisor in many Companies in Oman and UAE.

 Post Graduate in International Management (MBA) and a Professional Human Resources Expert and Professional. Married with twin girls (married) and son (married) and youngest daughter in College (Muscat Private International School). Wife Safiya Khalil Said Al Suleimany works in Petroleum Development Oman as an Executive Secretary in Finance Directorate.

 Majid took voluntary early retirement from PDO in 1998.

 In 1976, Majid was awarded an HND in Business Studies, from the UK. In 2003 he completed his Distance Learning MBA in Business Administration from University of Lincolnshire and Humberside in the UK.

Worked for Petroleum Development Oman for over 24 years, his last position as Senior Resourcing and Development Advisor, he held various HR jobs; HR and Employee Services, Training & Development Coordinator/Analyst, Organization Analyst, Compensation, Benefits and Remuneration (Salary Surveys); Personnel Planning and Development, Omanisation (Localization), Policy, Research & Job Classification Analyst and Industrial Relations.
